Bluetooth is a short range wireless communication technology. The USB adapter would allow your PC to communicate with Bluetooth devices via the USB port.

i do no longer in all risk believe everybody else at right here. USB is my selection for one ordinary reason: I'ts 10 situations swifter than bluetooth. Althought the technologies for bluetooth to be as quickly as USB 2.0 is right here, it is no longer at present in any cellular telephones to my know-how. i might decide why your USB isn't working, particularly than use a bluetooth adapter.

It allows your computer to communicate with Bluetooth-enabled devices. This lets you synch with stuff like a bluetooth-enabled phone (like the Razr), PDA, ect..
Some printers and Mice also use bluetooth.

It's a wireless adapter. Cell phones have them so that you can use an ear piece to talk on them without the need of wires.

Oh look there is one on top of my computer!
I use it to transfer pics etc to and from my mobile phone, and the same for my PDA.
It is a lot less bother than a wire!
