Two weeks ago. I lost my Brother. And I cried out to several of my Friends, here on Y/A. And they came through with flying colors. E-Mailing me! Offering their personal Phone numbers, etc; Really showing me their support. I have quite a few good friends, on here. Those of us who do? Should be very proud. Thanks for asking!!

In October of 1985 I was diagnosed with Malignant Cancer. I had a 6 year old, a 3 year old and a 6 week old. All girls. My husband was then and always has been my best friend.

So over the course of the next four years, I had to have 14 major operations and I would bee in the hospital for more than a month at a time. My husband took care of all three of the girls and drove 125 miles each way to see me at least twice a week. His best friend from high school, a guy that had never been married, moved in to help my husband with the house and the cooking and the cleaning and the children. They both worked full time and took turns taking the oldest to school and the others to day care.

It was a long 4 years and I was too weak to even walk most of the time, but my husband and his best friend took care of me and did everything they could to get me through all of it.

I just had another surgery this past October but I am happy to say that I am cancer free for now.

There have been many times I needed a friend. And God always came through for me. So do all my friends here. Most of the time P&S is like one big happy family. Something I'm proud to be part of. Sure there are meanies and uglies just like there are in any family. But I love them and pray for them too.

Now, to get the mf who reported two questions I had, supporting the troops. Revenge can be sweet.
A long time ago, I saved my neighbor's cat from being hit by a car. I saw her on a busy street, laying there, and 3 cars were coming fast. They couldn't see her because it was dark. I saw her because of the headlights from the cars. I ran out, and grabbed her in time. That time God was my best friend, I could've died for a cat. Now was that stupid of me, or what?

Many moons ago, I was very depressed over the loss of my 1st mate, Tyrina, of whom left me for another Thingy with thicker hair than mine, so upon reaching a point of contemplating suicide, my good pal Tyrock pulled me out my depression after introducing me to my long time mate, Tybublia;) LOL

This will sound very bizarre but in my darkest time my deceased mother came through for me. I felt her warm touch on my arm and knew everything would be alright. It was.

This is sad but when my dad was dying and I brought him home from the hospital to die like he wanted. My husband stayed by me and my father all day and night. I love him for that.
