my mother died from cervical cancer and last year my doctor found some cells on my cervix. i am 29 weeks pregnant and a yeast infection ruptured a fetal membrane to the extent that i had to be hospitilized for 5 days mostly for observation. i got pregnant out of the fear that i may not be able to have children and now his recent hopsitilization just made me even more fearful. how do i deal with this?

1. Have this baby.
2. Have some of your eggs harvested and frozen.
3. Have the cancer taken care of.
4. Use the frozen cells to have another baby.

Well, first take a deep breath, and then breath out. I am so sorry about your mother. Congratulations on being pregnant, I would listen to everything the doctors say about how to stay healthy through the pregnancy, there are some things you can't really control (yeast infections tend to be one of them during pregnancy) but the doc's can give you helpful tips about ways to try and minimize your risks. I would recommend that you find the help boards for women with threatened miscarriages and such. They may have some pointers on dealing with fear. Alternatively, ask to be referred to a counsel er who deals with pregnancy issues.
