Yes, it saddens and worries me. I like the earth the way it has been my whole life, but it is in for a big change, I'm afraid.

Ok, maybe it is sad. But what about the "Emian Period" which was the last interglacial warm spell that came just before the last ice age. Somehow, the cave people living at the time allowed both polar ice caps to completely melt!! I know it was irresponsible of them and and they deserve a serious chewing out over that fiasco, I think you will agree. I really don't know WHAT they were thinking when they just sat there and continued to hunt deer and such, not paying attention at all to the global climate situation of the day.
I tell you what REALLY scares me is the coming of the next ice age, which should arrive in the next 15,000 to 20,000 years from now. Then the northern half of the North American and Asian continents will be buried under ice that is several miles, yes miles, thick. That is really scary.

The salinity of the oceans will change, some species will die off, others will suffer. Ocean currents will change causing shifts in weather patterns. I have a map that shows Memphis, where I live, will be a seaport. Im kinda hoping for beach from property. Just keep using that Right Guard and Aquanet.

The Garden of Eden lasted 64 million years - the Carboniferous Period (Mississippian, Pennsylvanian, Permian). Does it sadden you that the whole Earth is rapidly becoming the Garden once again?

No, it doesn't bother me at all.

Let's build a really big refrigerator freezer down there to make more ice!
