Help me please!!!!?

ok someone gave me this website. it was supposed to be a game weebsite but it was somthin bad. and everytime u go up to your adress bar and type www. and then whatever the url thing is it shows up. Is there anyway i can delete it off of my adress bar. i know u can delete it off of history and i did. Will it stilll be in my computer?

Katie, to clean it out totally, downlaod a copy of WIndow Washer

Sounds to me like you have a Hijacker which is a type of malware that takes you to their site regardless of what URL you type in.

You need to Scan with you AV.

If you have any anti-spyware software on your computer, scan with that also. If you do not have any, you need to get some. Here is a few freebies. Download them, get the new definitions (update) and then scan your computer with them.
These are not Anti-viruses, so download all of them and scan with all of them. Unlike AV software, you can have as much anti-spyware as you want. In fact, the more the merrier.

This should fix your problem. Make sure that you scan with this software every two weeks at the very minimum, weekly is better. Make sure you check for new definitions before scanning.

Just erase browing history.Click the tools tab at the top of screen and click internet options.Then click delete and finally click delele history.
