I was at Fenway today and there was a song about being a girl and a baseball fan and I think it mentioned Fenway in it. Im pretty sure its a country song, it played after Kenny Chesney's "Boston". Anyone know what this is????

It wasnt Dropkick or The Standells. It was a woman singing and it was a country song.

The song u heard was the theme song of the Red Sox, "Tessie" by the Dropkick Murphys. In the beginning years of the Red Sox organization, there were a rowdy group of supporters called the "royal rooters" When the Boston Pilgrims won the world series in 1903, it was said that the Royal Rooters singing the number Tessie helped Boston win. In this remake by Irish punk rockers The Dropkick Murphys, it is rumored that in 2004, when it was made, former Red Sox players Johnny Damon and Bronson Arroyo were backup vocals in the song.
