Russell will help the Raiders but he will not carry them to a Super Bowl. The Raiders are one of the worst teams in history. They make the Duke Blue Devils look good (0-12 last year)

The Raiders need a lot more than just a QB. That organization is just a mess. They are the epitome of what a football team shouldn't be.

I think that he can if the Raiders work on their other problems as well.

No matter how good the QB is, if the O-line doesn't protect him or the WR's don't catch the ball, he's going to be in deep trouble.

I believe he will be, but does not have much help going in with Jerry Porter he has a good WR, but there's no telling if he has gotten over the ordeal he had last year. And Lamont Jordan did not do a good job last year of running the ball so at the current moment I see him struggling, but I believe is there QB for the future.

no because what the raiders really need is a good offensive line. if they ever get that or even improve their offensive line enough for an offense to function, russell will be a good qb for them. right now, no qb could be successful behind that line.

No. Like Vince Young last year, Russell was drafted too high and will be a flop.

I don't think he'll turn the program COMPLETELY around, but he will probably help a lot. They gotta get some Reciever and an O-line for him. Also a much better RB. Their defense honestly ain't half bad.

yes i believe he will because the have a struggling o-line and he can scramble. plus he's not a micheal vick who can only run and not pass. he is the perfect combonation and next year the raiders can focus on the o-line.

I don't think so. He had great recievers, witch he won't have in Oakland. There was no huge standard for him to live up to, at least not as huge as "The next John Elway."

Basicly, anybody could throw to his recievers. Wether it be John Elway, or Akili Smith.

I say bust.

He will help them but they won't win a championship for a few years because the teams around them are to strong. Teams like the Pats, Indy, and the up and coming BRONCOS.
