I was wondering that the other day. I live in London where there are a lot of Polish people living now and you can tell even before they speak. Is it the shape of their face? Sorry to generalise, but just curious to know what their typical features are.

If you have been around a lot Polish people, then yes you can generally recognise their bone structure and facial features and colouring. Basically they belong to the `slav` race.

I work in a care home where several Polish people work. First of all, I don't identify them just by how they look. They are all extremely nice, hard working and easy to get on with. If they have any specific features, (IF) their faces tend to be slightly broader, they have good cheekbones, and they are generally really good looking! I knew 2 Polish sisters years ago who were really stunning. One made dresses for Felicity Devonshire, a top model. The other sister bred snakes.
This was quite a few years ago. Now I look in QX magazine and I see today how many Eastern European guys are here, trying to make a living by prostitution. They are great looking, but they are here just to earn a living, because they know they can. They have good looking faces, great bodies, they're prepared to do almost everything FOR MONEY ...

There are characteristics that are common to slavic people that would be quite unlike those of European descent. I'm sure you're seeing some of that. But I'll bet there are other Pols you've come into contact with that you didn't even guess were Polish.

You can always tell a Polish man, but you can't tell him much.
Actually, not sure. American friend of mine says he often tries to slip by in the "EU Only" passport lines - he can't figure out how but they often pick him out.

certain, you've very gentle epidermis and hazel eyes besides as freckles. i will see the position she's coming from. I propose, you actually do not look Cubana, so eastern eu is better ideal!

THis is a gross generalisation but i find most eastern europeans look unhealthy and like wearing tracksuits/sport clothes
