There should not be any federal law prohibiting the sale or use of pot, because the constitution doesn't grant any power that covers this.

It's reasonable for states to have laws that prevent the production, sale, and distribution of a substance within their borders that the people feel is not conducive to freedom (pot is addictive). It's also reasonable to make it a crime to voluntarily use a substance that causes you to not be able to act responsibly unless someone else has legally accepted that responsibility (e.g., medical uses). In other words, being, "under the influence" is a very real danger to society.

The legalization of marijuana is among the most ridiculous things that has ever been considered in this country, I feel. Alcohol and tobacco are not problematic enough, let's legalize another drug! Give me a break. The legalization of marijuana would lead to a dramatic decline in society in a number of ways. The argument describing marijuana as a medical good is also ridiculous, as there are numerous other legal medications that can provide relief in the same way that marijuana. There is absolutely no logical reason to legalize such a dangerous substance.

If pot were legal, most teenagers would soon have the brain capacity of Pauly Shore, the agility and composure of Chevy Chase, and the ambition of a walrus laying on a hot rock in winter.

Legal so the government can regulate the THC content and tax the hell out of it which would cause immense damage to drug dealers worldwide by taking away a major source of revenue.

Pot is already illegal here.....so the only argument you should be looking for would be for the legalization of it......and you won't get that argument from me.

lol, you're the average anti-war type.
Tell that to radical Islam and we can all be happy. That's a simpleton ideology that doesn't hold up in the real world.
