i bought a new computer with windows vista and it came with the windows upgrade so i decided to intasll it on my old computer i used the the new computer product key on the old computer and it was working alright three weeks ago the computer stop working i have this message any time i swicth on the computer ''register your product'' and i dont know what to do ....i will very glad if you can help

You click on it and it will take you to a page to register your Vista with Microsoft.

If you have used a licensed copy of VISTA then you might have got the error message...the reason behind this can be the ip address of your pc has been registered with microsoft and at the same time you have registered the same license key with a diff ip..

If you are using a pirated copy then I dont even want to go to the details..

VISTA is causing a few probs hey, be careful, people have installed vista upgrading from xp and are finding that some of their hardware ie printers and such as just arent compatible so thats why its best generally to get a machine thats got vista preinstalled onto it.

The key for the software is probably good for only one install. Since the new computer has been activated and it identifies with that one you will not be able to activate it on another computer.

dont register it whatever you do you need to delete it and install it on your new computer
