Women have been having babies without medical intervention since the beginning of time. Yes it is nice and makes you feel safer but honestly you dont HAVE to have all the medical intervention.
My 17 year old daughter has gone through much of her pregnancy without medical help as did I with both her and my son.
As long as you have no pains, and the babies are still moving around then all is well.
Nightmare are common when you are pregnant, as it is your mind's way of dealing with the stress, andf fears of this new experience. Try writing down your nightmare as this will give you a way of facing your fears and laying them to rest.
Everything you are feeling is completely normal and natural for a woman who is pregnant so you can relax and try to enjoy your pregnancy.
Perhaps yopu can join some online support groups (try yahoo groups and put in birth/pregnancy etc) to allow you to discuss your fears and problems with other mums who have either been there or are going through similar things.
Just know that depression is definately something to look into if you are pregnant as depression during pregnancy increases the chance of post natal depression, you need to build up a good support network of family, friends and if possible - proffessionals (doctors, midwife etc)

relax. I'm sorry that you had such a tough time but the last thing you need to do is freak out. The nightmares you're having are from stress, and being pregnant doesn't help. have you tried to get medicaid? You might be able to, try contacting your local social services department. As long as you can feel your babies they are fine. I'm sure they are going to be happy and healthy little ones. If you are worried about them go to the hospital. Hospitals cannot turn you away because of no insurance. Some of them are even willing to workout payment plans and even take a % of the bill off if you are a self-pay(no insurance). Don't get upset and don't worry you'll be fine.

All mothers, or most, have fears about something happening to their babies. That will be the case for the rest of their lives. Have you tried getting medicaid? I would contact the hospital for advice. I'm pretty surethere is some kind of rule in hospitals that if you arrive at the hospital in labor you are to be seen by the doc and have the delivery even if you have no insurance. I'm not sure about this. Maybe wic can also lead to to the right places. Ask. Somebody will help. How pregnant are you?

I am not sure what state you live in, but there are alot of women's health clinics here in Ohio that are affiliated with the hospitals they have a ton of programs that you can apply for right at the center that will help with the financial part and it will not cost you a thing. You should qualify for one of them. Most of these places aren't directly in the hospitals but for instance the ones out here are like St. Joseph's Women's Center and such. Good luck and Take care :) And congratulations. I truly have faith that you are going to do wonderful with these babies. At the OB/GYN's office they go by the last day that you started your period then they calculate that as to how far along you are in weeks. My last period was March 6'th and I am now 10 wks pregnant. There are also a ton of sites on the internet that will help you as well as far as information. One is pregnancycalendar.com and many others just do a google search or whatever your search engine is about pregnancy. Alot of them are very informative. I know you are atleast past 4 months as you cannot find out the sex of your baby before that. Also the farther along you get and the larger your babies get you may notice that they aren't moving quite as much this is because they don't have as much room as they used to.

First, take a breath. Second, go to your local medicaid office and fill out all the paperwork. They will work with you and once approved will provide a list of doctors and hospitals and help get you appointments with them. Also, go to your WIC office. They will set you up with information on pregnancy, healthy eating, and answer many of the questions that you have.
I'm on my second child at about 14 weeks. You don't mention how far along you are. Calling a Planned Parenthood office might help you as well.
Good luck.

Call Planned Parenthood. They give sliding scale service for those without insurance. Your biggest need for prenatal care is now, so please don't hesitate to go. Most of the time, there is no problem!
Keep in mind that women have been having babies for eons without medical care. You are likely to be just fine. Tell yourself that!! If you still don't have a doctor when you are in labor, just show up at an emergency room. They will take care of you and worry about the cost later. If you have any problems at all, just show up at the emergency room. They will take care of you!

I don't know what state you are in but in Ny if you are pregnant medicaid has to cover you no matter how much money you make. They do require a doctors note that says you are pregnant. Try a planned parenthood they should see you either for free or for very little money. Good luck I hope you find something.

go to wic department, the health department, or welfare department. they have something out there unless u got money. and if u do then pay up front for a Dr visit to make sure all is OK. but in the real world nobody has money so one of the state programs should help you.

depending on were you live you may beable to get state assistance for the birth of your children as well as for there health insurance.. You will have to go to the welfare office. There is no reason why a physician shouldnot see you. most will except payment plans....
