I love Whataburger. I live in the northeast but would go to TX frequently. My first meal after landing would always be Whataburger.

By the time I heard of Whataburger it had closed down where I live. But I've heard they are good.

I moved to Austin 3 years ago and started eating there right away and still like it. As with any chain restaurant, some are better than others. I do like the fact that you order and get your drink and sit down and they bring it to you. At some places, they will come around and touch up your beverage. I'm not wild about their commercials but the food is us ally good. It's a small step up from Mc Donald's and the other regular burger places.

Whataburger used to be great. Not anymore. Greedy management for profits. The buns are no longer warmed, and the meat patties are the thinnest in the industry now. They used to be very thick and juicy. The lettuce and tomato used to be fresh, and it always wilted.

We have them here in Virginia, last time I ate at one was in the 80's, so that should say something about how much I liked it. lol

I had one in Texas about 10yrs ago, I wasn't impressed.
