where can i find more about deep bruises?

i was walking and tripped over a skateboard the other day and fell. it hurt really bad. the next day i work up with a bruise about an inch big on my bottom. it hurt to sit down but i have no choice. now two days later the bruise got bigger and its like 4 inches big. it looks scary. i'm 29 and i never had a bruise on my butt before. so you know how bad i must have fell. will it go away or keep getting bigger? it only hurts when i sit.
