when i switch on my computer it take about 6min for the start programs to appear on the screen does anyone have the solution to it?

Assuming your running windows...
Press start, run, type msconfig and press ok. Click the startup tab found on the top right and uncheck all except your antivirus and firewall (if you have). Click apply and restart your PC.
After you restart a window will open check the box and click ok.
Then defrag your hard drive.
start, programs, accessories, system tools, disk defragmenter.

You definitely want to run a spy ware/virus scan. You can go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and run a good free one. If you go to "Start" and then "run", Type "msconfig". Disable all start up programs to see what the difference is. If dramatic go back and enable just the important ones. Like anti virus and not much else. Everything else will call whatever it needs when run.

Scan for all virus threat and increase pc memory and ram.
try puting pc on stand by mode and don't shut it down

Yes, add more memory, remove any virus or trojans, spywares, defrag the hard drive
