don't they take donations

and have some sort of sales or raffles

since thats their status they are allowed to have raffles

they have to be creative in ways to bring in donations
or getting grants to keep things paid for in the company.

look at the 700 club - they have many shows going
at once and they are always asking for money
basically its the whole show setting you up to ask for money

and they make millions

When you say lots of people use foundations & non-profit businesses to generate income, where do you get that information?

Charities and other established nonprofits can apply for grants and donations. If you want to establish a nonprofit organization, you can check the resources available at the Foundation Center website, they have some excellent FAQs that describe what is involved.

If you want to make a living off a foundation or nonprofit, get a job at one.

Why do you want to complicate things when making the money. You obviously don't make the big money at present or in the near future, so don't even bother with this.

Just a note to you and everyone out there: there are 100 times easier ways to make the good money every month and save on your expenses like taxes and so on!

If they catchup onto you while trying to use Non-Profits you are going to be in lots of paperwork involvement.
