A 12 year old girl asked if she sould masturbate. everyone told her yes, to go for it. i told her no, she is way too young, someone even told her how too bye herself. dont you think she is too young> do you think she should "go for it"? dont you think it is wrong for sickos to tell her to go for it? and give her links to find out more about it? should i report abuse on the answers?

No, I see nothing wrong with that. There are no dangers in her masturbating and it often begins at around that sort of age. She's experimenting, what is the problem? Its better than her experimenting by going out and actually having sex.

i think the reason why people will say yes and go for it because a lot of woman started to masturbate at that age or even younger. I started when i was younger then 12 years old. I enjoyed when i was younger. As a 22 year old i still don't see anything wrong with me masturbating at a younger age. I am not saying that they should have told her to go for it not. But i don't think anyone should report abuse on something like that. This 12 year old girl that could be thinking to her self, am i the only one wanting to do something like this at my age. Is it normal or what.
And to finish off your questions, i believe the links are a little to far, depending what is on the link. If the link is meant for teens then so what, that is what they are there for. There are site out there just for teens that helps them understand themselves. I think it is ok for them to say it is ok to do and and i don't think you should report abuse on the answers.

Yes you should report abuse. I think it's far too personal a topic to be out there for a 12 year old. Sickos should not be influencing a child with links or information. Please do the right thing.

Masturbation is normal, healthy, and the best way for a young woman (or young man) to explore the beginnings of sexuality. It is not wrong, dirty, nasty, or harmful in any way.
People who view masturbation as wrong have subconscious memories of being punished for touching themselves as an infant or a young child.
People who cannot speak, write, or otherwise call their genitalia by the proper names, will never view sex as enjoyable, fulfilling, or anything other than dirty.

It is an individual choice when you are ready to masturbate. If you are experiencing the physical sensations than why not? If you have religous or cultural rules about this than you have to examine your reasons for having an issue with the answers given to this question.
No one told her to have sex with someone, but to explore her own bodies sensations and needs. If we don't find out what we like for ourselves, how can we tell our partners what to do?

There's nothing wrong with masturbation. Child experts agree that masturbation is normal, even in young children. As long as those users aren't sending her pornographic, or talking inappropriately and hitting on her, I wouldn't worry.

im only 17 and if someone would have told me that i would have seen it so wrong.....a 12yr old shouldnt even really know bout that...that is so wrong there replies should have been NO! and just focus on sko and thats nothing for u to worry about just live life as a 12yr old and thats it...im totally with u adn its so wrong!

probably better to masturbate than to start having sex at 12 yrs. old.It is a very natural thing for human beings to do. She needs to be comfortable with her body.
