According to captured Iraqi military officers and someone named Sadam Hussein, the Iraqi military itself believed they had WMD. They found out that it was all hype to scare the Iranians from invading at a high-level briefing by then President Hussein after the war started. Mr Hussein stated that he did not believe the US would invade a secular Islamic country with Iran next door and to fool Iran, he had to fool the world. Apparently he fooled himself. The UN inspectors in virtually every report stated that they believed Iraq had these weapons. Please do your homework completely before spouting in the future. Thanks.
