started to blink. When I bought the truck, I had it checked and no problems at that point. Well My Ext Warranty (Penn Auto Warranty) only offered me 725.00 towards a USED Tranny ONLY. My Tranny Mech offered to rebuild mine w/ new electronics for an addt'l 1900.00 I feel that is reasonable,soit's being done as we speak.
My question is : What can be done under the NY Lemon Law for me?

that would not be lemon. that happens to a lot of them. the od is 1st to go out. i had a few do same thing. yes cost are about right.

Most of the time overdrive problems are caused by defective engine sensors like the absolute barometric pressure sensor or vacuum sensor.. I've seen a lot of people spend 2 grand on a transmission with no overdrive or a non locking torque converter just to have the problem still there because it wasn't in the transmission in the first place.
