Is there one in your area? Might be worth taking an hour or two and just walking around it.

Also, check out Yahoo Finance site on Whole Foods http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=WFMI
and the Whole Foods website http://wholefoods.com/

First step - go to the library and look up anything on whole foods market
start note cards with the reference source. If you don't want to spend that much time in the library then print the pages from the sources on copy machines the library usually have. If you use the Internet be sure and use reputable sources.

Next start you outline and make sure you have source documents for you points (hence the note cards)

Next work on your opening statement. This is a sentence that will tell me what you are going to tell me in your paper.

Now tell me about your points

Ending is you sum up what you told me.

Your teacher or whoever assigned this to you should have already told you the format of this paper IE where to put foot note or to directly quote sources in our paper.

Sorry to say, they are old news, but the good news for you is there is a lot available on them. First, search for Wal-Mart and Organic foods. Wal-mart has been selling more and more organic foods to compete with WFM. They must be making some progress because WFM's stock is falling (its not a pretty picture). Search the finance section of yahoo for stories on WFM - I'm sure you will see something there.
P.S. Forget the index cards ;)
