Europeans, a branch of the Aryan tribes that decided to go west from their land of origin in the urals, met an environment very favourable to durable development. Mild climactic conditions and fertile lands led to strong economic development in comparison with the rest of the world. Fast forwarding a few thousand years and taking into account increased encounters with people from foreign lands, Europeans started asking themselves why they had fared so well. The simple answer being, their conviction of superiority. Now in practical terms, these favourable climactic conditions led them to largely overtake the rest of the world and following the pattern of many other animal species started expanding their territory: the colonies. As these colonies ended only recently in addition to the simple conviction of their innate superiority, the Europeans are having a hard time admitting the world does not belong to them anymore.

Europeans don't think the world belongs to them. Simple as that, really.

Maybe it's a common disbelief that Europeans are the laziest and snobbiest people on the face of the Earth. Everything in their country is extremely overpriced, yet people buy it anyway.
Thousands flock to their country for no apparent reason other than to waste their money looking at overrated, shitty old buildings that people with common sense really don't give a fu*k about.

500 dollars for a 20 minute gondola ride? Fu*k that.

100 dollars to enter a cathedral? Fu*k that.

20 dollars for 2 scoops of ice cream? Are you fuc*ing kidding me?

God, those Europeans just sit on their a*ses, do nothing, and rake in all that cash from tourism.

Ancient History: Words can't really describe them, they were great.

Modern: The second worst group of people on Earth. (right behind Terrorists!!!!) They are all rude, disrespectful, spoiled, ignorant pieces of sh*t and are the sole reason why everyone hates Europe. Except for the Germans and the Swiss, they're nice.

I'd say your question is in the wrong tense.

Many Europeans USED TO believe that "the world belonged to them", but these days it's we Americans (or at least our "leaders") who harbor that unfortunate and most dangerous delusion.

Most are rude and obnoxious. If you happen to from an European island, you also have bad teeth.

Because most of their contries have been around longer than ours, and we are still looked upon as the annoying little brother. Since the USA has been founded, we have had much war....a lot of the countries in Europe would rather not get involved the way we do.

I don't believe they do. Clarify your question and give details how you arrived at this conclusion.
