Get so sick and tired of having 0 unread messages that you just email crap to yourself to make yourself feel better about yourself.... Because I have never done that.

I have never heard of emailing yourself, I suppose it would save on stamps over regular mail, but wouldn't it just be easier to talk to yourself?

I don't do that but I have 6 e-mail accounts and I send stuff to other accounts because they each have different address books.

No. I have sent something from one account to another, as it made it easier to forward.
