Those are bothersome, it could be an infected ingrown hair which can be cleaned with peroxide and taken out. If looks more like a pimple then it could be a cyst which are common after an ingrown hair. You can put a warm compress on it (a wet face cloth warm with warm to hot water and rang out). If it is an inter dermal cyst (the same as a cyst, it just means it hasn't come to surface yet) you can use a warm compress. This helps it come to a head to pop. Like with any infected cut or pimple or anything really, you want to have clean hands and equipment. If it worsens you can go to the doctors (dermatologist or primary) and they can lance it. I personally would avoid antibiotics. If they choose not to lance it they may inject it with a type of steroid that loosens up and clears the infection. But I wouldn't worry about getting to the doctors right away. I would make the appointment just in case if it takes awhile to get into the office, you can always cancel if it goes away. Which sometimes it does, especially if it is just a swollen lymph node.

You may be allergic to the deodorant that you use. You could be breaking out in a type of lumpy rash that hurts with any kind of irritation. Or it could be a pimple. Many people get pimples under their arms. It's a perfect spot for them. Moisture and sweat builds up there, along with some dirt. First try either skipping your deodorant or using an all-natural deodorant for a few days, or using acne medicine on it and see if it goes away.
Good luck!

If it is a lump, then probably just a sebaceous cyst or abcess. If it is abcess, the skin around it is red and tender and it feels fluctuant then the only treatment is to get it incised and drained. This can wait although if you become unwell, with a temperature, vomiting or headache then you should get it seen to more quickly. Other things are ingrown hair, also make sure you feel no lumps in your breasts.

Please don't worry about it. Most people think Aaaarghh, it's cancer! Well 99% of the time it is swollen lymph glands. This is the result of an infection which can come and go for months. Go and see your doctor and he will give some antibiotics. I have had the same thing before - exactly the same symptoms. Don't worry; be happy and enjoy what's left of the weekend!

Or a swollen lymph node, have you been ill (flu, etc.) recently?
Or a clogged sweat gland.
Or a bunch of other things that could be serious... breast cancer, lymphoma, did you really want to know this now?
If you have a fever now don't wait, go to an emergency clinic right away.
Lump in armpit should always be checked by a doctor.

Okay,
First thing to do is book an appointment to see your GP on Monday morning.
There are alot of causes for armpit swelling (mostly trivial e.g. abscess [pus discharge] but some things that need to be ruled out [breast ca])
Your username says anna (female), you havent stated your age, but you need to see your GP, so he can examine this lump.
As long as you feel well in yourself and dont feel terribly unwell, then you dont need to go to the hospital or anything yet.
The reason why it is so important to see your doctor on monday, is that he must examine your breasts, do this yourself, can you feel any lumps?
There is nothing that you need to worry about the moment, but if he feels necessary he may need to send you for a quick scan and be reviewed by a consultant, i know this may sound scary but its better to be safe than sorry.
For the time being take pain killers and try to relax over the weekend, first thing monday phone your GP, and dont be fooled by stupid receptionists who will give you an appointment in another week, tell them 'I have a lump near my breast, i must see dr today'.
All the Best

Probably an ingrowing hair.
Try hot salty water on a clean cloth and bathe it until the pore opens. This may release the infection if thats what it is.
I dont advise you to try to cance it yourself!
Use plenty of antiseptic ointment and alternate it with the hot compress. Then get to your doctor.

could be a cyst, or an infected or impacted hair follicle..... but the only way u can be 100% certain that it's not something nasty is to make an appointment to see a doctor when they open on Monday.... waiting another 24hrs won't make any difference if it is something bad... things don't progress that much within 24 hrs...
good luck. hope it's nothing serious, take care.
