Whatever. All 52 hostages came home alive, but he still gets abuse from rightwingers about not attacking Iran. Meanwhile, 200+ Marines get blown up in Lebanon, Reagan cuts and runs and conservatives stay mum. The real problem is your own, my friend.

"Treal"

Must be an inbred redneck writing this question. What's wrong, Billy Boy? Ever type on a computer before?

Anyway, Jimmy Carter was not a good leader...quite frankly he will go down has a failure (not because of the peace accord between Egypt and Israel....but because of the way he handled the Iran issue...and the inflation issue...and the B1 Bomber issue..etc).

In fact, he's a better humanitarian than he was a US President.

Then again, comparing Jimmy's term in office with George W Bush's term in office is a little like comparing apples to oranges....Jimmy was semi-competent (he could speak through those big teeth of his), whereas Geoge W is a complete imbecile.

He matters more for what he did after being president than what he did while in office.

The Camp David agreement didn't matter??? His diplomatic skillswere outstanding. It iwas his his that sucked.

Cut all retail prices by 10%, including energy. Everything! Haircuts, medical care, you name it. Now, consider his presidency. Put the 10% back.

A senior statesman who won a Nobel Peace prize doesn't matter? He matters more after being president than he did while he held the office.
