yoink is correct, Pimafix won't help the ich at all. I agree as well that heat and salt is a very effective treatment for ich, though I would suggest raising the temperature above 87F and using considerably more salt. I would suggest using a tablespoon per gallon. This concentration will kill the ich in much greater numbers and will clear the problem even more quickly. Treat in this manner for at least 14 days or for 7 days after you see the last white spot on any fish in the tank, which ever is longer. Some fishes are sensitive to that salt level and some to the heat being that high. If you need further details please feel free to email me.

Pimafix is for mild fungal infections, ich is not a fungus. I have had good luck slowly raising the temperature to 86 degrees and adding 1TBS of aquarium salt per 5 gallons of water. Keep the temp up for about a week after you see the last spot of ich on your fish. You can use medication, but it is usually harmfull to invertabrates, plants, and can stain aquarium silicone.
