I hate the broncos but, yes they will win the afc west. The upgrade at running back with henry and the addition of Bly and the upgrades along the dline should be enough to get by the chargers. I think the chargers are gonna take a step back from last season, cause losing their whole coaching staff, head coach, def coor, offense coor, is gonna hurt more than people seem to know. Plus say what you want about marty and his playoff record, but the man does know how to coach in the regular season. The chargers team is going to take a step backwards with norv at the helm.

Nope. I'm not saying this just because I'm a Chargers fan. The Chargers are basically the only competition to the Broncos for the top spot in the West. I personally think it will be close due to the fact that Denver has an easier schedule than San Diego. If Denver can pull away early, they have a good chance of taking the West. I think the Bolts will win the West though simply because they have the better team. Norv Turner is an offensive genius and should lead the Chargers to a good season and maybe the playoffs. The Bolts didn't need to do anything in the offseason. They have the depth and youth to help their team in the future. AJ Smith is doing a real good job managing this team. And even if LT went down, don't for get Turner the Burner! The Chargers will win the West with Denver in second.

I don't think the chargers will win the AFC West. The Charges (through they didn't do anything in the off season) are the best team in that division. The reason why the Chargers didn't go after free-agents is because they didn't need to upgrade any positions (maybe safety but it wasn't good free agent pool for safeties this year.) Anytime you go 14-2 , return all of your starters except for an aging wide-out (mccardell), and have the league's best player (LT) there is really nothing a team can do to improve. I believe the Chargers are one of the top3 teams in the league.
As for the Broncos making the playoffs it is possible. They are the first tier of wild card potential teams with the Jets Jaguars, Bengals and Titans. The Chiefs and Steelers head the second tier group. I like the Broncos chances of making the playoffs.

you guys will when the afc west in a few years. the chargers dont have to do anything in the offseason. they are young at all the critical positions that make a team successful. they sucked for a long time and getting the top 5-10 draft pick for decades allow you to do that, along with trading eli manning away to the giants and getting 3-4 early round pics a couple years ago. that helps. i dont see the broncos winning it for a while. Rod Smith is like 75 years old(hes good though). you dont have a marquis running back(but you really dont need one in that system) but the offensive line is old. i think you guys need some younger safeties and address the linebacker situation since al wilson left. with that being said i dont see you winning the division unitl 09, and i cant give you guys a wild card spot either. the afc is kinda tough. i cant see you guys being better than
1. Indy (im putting them here only because they won the super bowl i hate them)
2. new england
3. san diego
4. baltimore
5. new york jets( they are young and talented
6. cincinnati bengals(if they can stay out of jail)
teams 7-11 will finsh with that dreadful 10-6(and still miss) 9-7 and 8-8 record.
7. tennessee titans.
8. jacksonville jags
9. pittsburgh
10 denver
11. kansas city
good luck to your team though cuz my team sucks(miami dolphins)
all this can change with injuries to key players like vince young on the madden cover.....bad sign for him.

The Chargers are on the verge of being the next Dynasty in the NFL. Philip Rivers is the next great QB. Though he didn't post big numbers last year, he didn't get many attempts behind a strong running game.
Even without LT, the Chargers would be a strong team, backed by a young and great defense.
I have never been a big Charger fan, until they got Rivers (because I'm a NCSU Wolfpack fan). I'm sold.
Chargers will win the division. Count on it.

The broncos only upgraded at a couple of positions. and one of them they had to because darrent williams died.
The most improved team in the afc west is the raiders. From the coachto the players. They got exactly what they needed on offense and left the #3 overall defense pretty much where it was. Also, the defense was mostly rookies last season so they will get their sophmore boost this year and become #1 defense leaving the offense to just play football instead of worrying about who is in the mood to play.

I would not rule it out the chargers are strong but mostly just because of LT. If the chargers go into a slump then yes the broncos will win it. But I think there is a 20% chance of that happening.

It's all on cutler, the only ifs as at LB, and S. Its really too bad they got rid of wilson, but i see why. If cutler plays well the broncos will definitely take the division and probably will make a nice run for the super bowl. GO BRONCOS!
