or if you are talking about opposition between enemies, it's because nobody is bold enough to make any beef, it's too risky with media today which always manage to twist and fabricate information into something more than it is, which cause bigger problems, so it's just too much hassle to go through to have any beef with anyone today especially if you are famous.

In my field grazing I suppose, she's a semmental heifer, but we're not using her for beef, per say, we're going to breed her and eat her children, kind of sick isn't it? but so delicious
