I am on day 5 in my cycle. I took the ovul. test and it showed positive. How can it be? My period only lasted 2 and a half days and then I found that I have some milky mucus, that was why I took the test. Any advice would be greatly apprishiated.

you should take a pregnacy test. its highly unlikely that you are ovulating that early. whats your average cycle length?
if your cycles are that long then it soulds highly unlikely that you are ovulating. however, if you ARE pregnant and ovulation kit will show positive as well. take a pregancy test!!!

If your period normally lasts longer than 2 and a half days then you should take a pregnancy test to rule that out. As for the pos opk this early in your cycle, it is very unlikely that you are getting ready to ovulate. Are you taking any meds? Do you have PCOS?
