Slavery exists in (just about) every country, though it's more profuse in the developing world. Slavery, especially child slavery was on the rise in 2003 - there are no countries where slavery is still legal however. Some experts believe there could be anything between 27 million and 200 million slaves today - even 27 million would be the highest number (though lowest percentage) of people in slavery EVER.

nicely which would be US the fashionable *secular* usa. The bible facilitates slavery and became even used to justify it; consequently slavery isn't inconsistent with Christianity. Freedom is a mundane thought. To the quantity that Muslim countries will throw off a similar techniques christianity had a hundred and fifty years in the past, slavery won't return.

Slavery is no longer legal anywhere. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The link below has some modern trouble spots. There are also many places where a man can treat his wife and children as slaves.

"wasnt america the only country to have slavery" lol im not giving a history lesson all im saying is : what a dumbass...
anyway to answer your question: im black so slavery of any kind is heartbreaking to me. i cant remember all the countries but i do know that my own - America is one of the largest importers of sex slaves through human trafficking. its disgusting and most of the victims of sex slave trade are from former Soviet Union/yugoslavia and Asia. they are suffering from unstable economy and most are tricked to come here, get their identification taken andv are frightened by threats of harming their families iif they don't pay off a so called "debt" to these disgusting animals...its hard to prosecute because of the prior mentioned and the fact that prostitution is a crime - so the situation becomes their fault ...terrible. seems like when we overcome one obstacle in this world, there are 5 more to set us back; and the world simply basks in its ignorance or try to forget what they've heard.
