i am really getting worried with this team. everybody is critizing each other, offense is not doing their job, and starting pitchers are doing pretty good. i cant wait til the all star break so they can have couple days rest and get their mind back on track and start winning

I think that the Yankees will be fine, their bats came around today and they fought hard to come back after being down 8-2 and losing their starter in the 1st inning. Im also sick of people saying that they dont get along, I mean how would you know, and you actually believe what the media says. They are a team that cant find any breaks and arent playing with any consistancy right now, and unfortunatly its happening while playing the some of the better teams in the American and National League, if they play well, meaning taking two out of three or better from the Sox I think it will give them a boost and confidence. Once Clemens starts pitching and Hughes comes off the DL that pitching staff will be great and the offense will start hitting like they did today.

My thoughts are that the yankees will probably turn it all around by seasons end. Just like last year, they will start the first few months bad then hit a hot streak. They will come close to geting or will get the wild card this season. No shot of catching Boston this season though.

They are having a tough year for sure. Their pitching is very poor, and their hitting is not all that great either. They are in a funk, and at season's end, if not sooner, we can expect George Steinbrenner to clean house. Gone will be Cashman and Torre as well a several highly paid veterans. They will be traded away as the Yankees try to rebuild.

Chow!!

The Yankees are the most talked about and over paid crappy team in MLB history. If ESPN wasnt the Yankee network and gave equal time to all crappy teams, we would know more about the Royals and the Reds. GO TRIBE !!!

we're in big trouble now. It figures, the starting pitching improves and the bats fall asleep. Jeter and Posada can't do it all and poor Pettite has gotten screwed out of some wins. I'm not optimistic. The Red Sox look too good this year :o(

Done.

they probably will turn it around after the all star break, but not enough. do they really think roger clemens can bring them back? some guy (he really was great before, though) that's so old he can't play a full season? sorry, don't think so. pitching is not spectacular, batting is getting worse, and they are 11 games behind now. it will be very tough for them to come back.

My 2 Cents....

After 911, the NY citizens were sad and down and needed something to lift their spirits up after such a horrible event. The Yankees made it to the WS that year and gave their NY fans a DOUBLE WHAMMY by losing!!!!!!

2004 ALCS....enough said!

Yankees pitching core isnt doing well enough for them to get wins. like Mo is blowing 5 saves or something like that.... the injurys to there pitching like Parvano, Moose but he is bak....and the guy who broke his leg and the hamstring guy.... i forget there names....but the bats are working with A-Rods big START and Derek Jeter getting to 13 game hitting streak and so is Jorge Posade idk what they did today...but this team should bounce out of it
