I have a '03 Pontiac Grand Am GT and all three of those lights came on at the same time. What could be the cause of that? Someone told me it might be a sensor. If that is the case, how much will that cost to repair. If it could be anything else, what might it be and how much? thanks

the car has about 83000 miles. ALSO, when I press the brakes, my lights seem to flicker. Could this all be connected to the same problem?

The most likely problem here is a wheel sensor. It sure throws a lot of lights on,huh?I worked on one last week with the same symptoms,it was caused by the wire leading to the right rear worn through from rubbing on the chassis. The normal brakes are still allright but the ABS is not working.

Fix the flickering light problem and I bet the others go away. Flickering lights when you draw current off another system are almost always just a bad ground connection between the engine and the chassis. You could have a black battery cable that splits and goes to both places or just a big cable going from the engine to the chassis.

How many miles on the brakes, this is usually an indicator that your brakes need replacing. As for the engine lite, that is why most mechanics today have computers. Also, on the engine there is a smog valve that if it carbons up really bad, it will activate the chk eng. lite.
