I just added some GumOut fuel injector cleaner and added 10 gallons of gas. My service engine light came on the next day and now the car runs sluggish and misses quite often. What's going on?? My fuel pump was just recently replaced.

Let me guess. You added cleaner because the engine was running rough. The cleaner didn't help, and whatever was making the engine run rough got bad enough to trigger the check engine light, and you're blaming the cleaner.

You may have gotten something in your gas tank like contamination of some kind....Maybe that's what fowled the other fuel pump. Maybe drain out the gas and test it? Try to replace the gas and have the tank cleaned.......new fuel filters and start off troubleshooting from the fuel problem you were having before.

There isn't any need to add fuel injector cleaner, the gas cleans it for you!!!

It might have acted on gunk in your tank and clogged your fuel filter

Too rich a mixture.
You might just need to run it through this tank or get it completely emptied.

take it to Autozone and have them pull the codes. It will tell you what is wrong, and give you part prices to have it fixed. Good Luck.
