just to ask, did you see this with your eyes open or closed?

I sometimes get visions similar to this when my eyes are closed, but never open. If your eyes were open, then it might be an after-effect of having your eyes closed for a long time, then opening them.

Dear Lost Soul:

I have had similar visions at night while sleeping on the floor.
I have taken to sleeping on the floor because it keeps me from falling out of bed late at night when I chase a suspected boogey man around the bedroom. It seems to me that the
yellow explosion you saw was from an explosive belt that your Boogey Man had strapped to his body. When the force of the explosion reached you it knocked you flat on your back side, and you began to see stars, etc. This is, I think, a pretty normal reaction to a monster explosion up close to you.

Visions, dreams, nightmares and all that are caused by repeated conscious thoughts, daytime situations you experienced, your worst fears, and any recent visual shocks you could have had. The duration of these visions, etc., seems to be related to the length of time expired between your last meal and actual sleep. The type of foods consumed also play an active part in the vividness of the dreams, visions, or nightmares. If for example, you ate Cream of Wheat, Grits, or Cereal for supper you probably won't have any mind shattering visions or nightmares.

However, if you dined on Octupus, Cajun Spicey Foods, Monkey Meat, or licorice you should batten down the hatches in preparation for a stormy night of blinding sensations and visions of the Creator walking out the door on you. It helps to have one or two large glasses of wine before bed. Alternate that with a half glass of Johnny Walker Red when your budget permits. Sex is also a good cure for release of pent up tensions and anxieties. So, you might want to invest in a night on the town with your sweetie, or lacking the ability to do that, you might cuddle up with a really neat Porn FlicK before bed, or call a friend and talk dirty for an hour or so. Any of the above seem to help immensely.
