That is an awesome car (GM through-and-through) but a buddy of mine at school just bought an '07 about a month ago and is having issues with his transmission because it can't handle the power the super-charger is making for the engine. Personally I would step up to a SS Silverado or a SS Colorado if you want a new SS vehicle.

The IS250 has 204 hp and weighs 3651 kilos. Giving it a capacity to weight ratio of 17.89 kilos in step with hp. The Cobalt SS has 205 hp and weighs 2991 kilos, giving it a capacity to weight ratio of 14.fifty 9 kilos in step with hp. Given the IS250 has all wheel force, it is going to get off the line swifter, however the as a results of fact the Cobalt has a extensive weight benefit, the Cobalt could seize it nicely till now the tip of the a million/4 mile. each and every physique who thinks the Lexus is swifter has no clue what they're speaking approximately. Edit: The retard above me who says human beings continually assume a race is in a quickly line is particularly like a number of well-known American basher: Jealous. he's clueless to how plenty 660 lbs of greater mass are going to decelerate the Lexus in each and every little thing from a quickly line to corners. despite if it is on a music or on the strip, i might positioned my money on the lighter vehicle with a similar capacity, exceptionally as a results of fact Lexuses are not precisely familiar for his or her cornering.

I think they're pointless, due to its supposed to be supercharged, but they used a smaller engine than one that comes in a standard cobalt, and added a supercharger, so it makes the ss pointless due to the smaller engine with a supercharger. Its like putting a 4 cylinder engine in a mustang and adding a turbo or supercharger.

I think it's the new Cavalier. They just changed the name and upgraded the style. Also, the Cobalt SS is around the same price as the Monte Carlo SS. (Just a bit cheaper) I know that because I own a 2006 Monte Carlo SS.
