I'll assume you mean x^2 - 8x + 25 = 0, not +0.

Just plug yout coefficients into the quadratic formula and solve. Here a=1, b = -8 and c = 25.

x = [ -b ± √(b² - 4ac) ] /2a
x = [ 8 ± √(64 - 100) ] / 2
x = [ 8 ± √(-36) ] / 2

Now solving the rest of this depends on what you've learned in class. If you've honestly never covered imaginary or complex numbers in class, then you can just stop right here and say "no real solutions", because you're taking the square root of a negative number here, so there are no solutions in the real number system.

If, however, you HAVE covered imaginary and complex numbers, then carry on to get:
x = [ 8 ± 6i ] / 2
x = 4 + 3i, 4 - 3i
.
