question you thought was real so you gave it a serious answer but then went back and read some of the other answers and realized the person asking was joking? What did you do if you've ever done that? Did you edit your answer or just leave it and let people think you were a bit slow on the uptake? :)

Yes, that happened to me in my very first week here. I was lost and thought I might have talked some guy out of suicide (very dramatic). He gave me Best Answer and then mocked me and told me what a dumb a*s I was and how he hated goody goody's who came here to "help". I reported him a million times (before I learned that reporting just "ain't" cool) and the way he laughed and mocked me is still as fresh a memory as the day it happened. I have had bee stings that didn't hurt that much. I'm very sorry if that happened to you.

Kinda... the person was being sarcastic, and I took them literally. However, when I did that, I answered using my own opinions, so I did not change my answer.

I usually leave it. It's as likely to be a sarcastic answer as not.

i left it and got BA because ppl thought it was a joke but the quetioneer said he was seriuos later so i won

i don't usually end up in that situation, because i'm always sarcastic and i never take anybody seriously.
