Absolutely. I love mine I bought it after Christman with money I had been given and was amazed by the picture quality and the speed of the wireless internet. It is a workhorse and I use it for school, Myspace, Music, Movies, and iChat with the awesome built in Camera and other things as well. It comes with almost all the software you need just buy iWork too, for typing and presentations. I know nothing about computers and Mac in general is easy to use. A Great Buy especially with the recent upgrades Apple made.

They're well made machines IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY. They have some distinct advantages, but also some disadvantages over a PC. They do not stay pretty very long, they look old VERY fast, but they are very reliable. I agree, you need to have bootcamp because software selection for mac is very poor and very very expensive.
