Why or why not?
I'm thinking of not having a couch in my new place.

I have a couch but I believe that each person is entitled to their own style when it comes to home decor. If you'd rather not have a couch that is your choice!

We have 2; 1 is a pull out in case the grandkids were to come over night. They are the best kind to get as it gives extra sleeping room. Good luck. You get recliners or any or kind of chair. A couch gives more sitting space; but do what feels right for you.

I have a futon sofa - it's a great way to have a couch, but have space in case you have guests, too. It's also easy to change the look by getting a relatively inexpensive futon cover rather than expensive new upholstery.

I have to have a couch, but when I got rid of it for another, I waited a week without one. We had fun with pillows and blankets on the floor all week

Used to have two - now I have none. I have several recliners instead. Actually I would rather sit in a rocking chair. But I do not own any at this time.

Yes, So i can sit down and Watch T.V in the living room so you dont have to be on the bed or on chairs all day
