I recently found a tin of some antique blocks from a company obviously no longer in existence, they are like legos only not as advanced as now, any clue where to find the price of them?
Thanks!

There are a couple of ways to find out what the "going price" for your blocks are.

1. Go to your local public library. Ask to see the books on Antique Toys or books on Antiques and Collectibles. Look up the name of the company in the book's index. Hopefully, it will be there. If the book is current (copyright 2005 or recent), you will get a good idea about the price of your blocks.

2. Check Ebay. The price won't be equal to what's in the books, but it will give you an idea of what people are paying for your books.

3. If you have an antique shop in your town, ask the owner for help. He/she may not give you an accurate price (because he/she may be thinking of buying the set from you). But,this will give you another idea of the value of your blocks.

4. Check to see if there is an antique toy shop around. You may find one on the Internet if you don't have one near where you live. E-mail the owner and ask your questions.

I hope this helps.

So what is the question? If you need information regarding your item you best bet is to take it to a toy and antique craft store or show so you can find out the name of the maker.
