Their biggest threat would be losing Tom Brady for the season!

In the AFC
1. Ravens (their "D")
2. Colts ( Manning )
3. Chargers ( Ball control! feed LT the ball )

In the NFC
1. Saints ( #1 offense in football )
2. Panthers ( Defense )
3. Eagles ( Only if McNabb stays healthy )

Coming from the AFC, the Chargers would be the most lethal candidate. The team is pretty much still intact and are motivated by the loss from last year.

The Colts may do something, but they seemed to have lost a lot of key pieces from their Super Bowl team.

The obvious answer would be the defending Super Bowl champion Indianapolis Colts, but I'm going with the San Diego Chargers. They were clearly the most talented team (offense, defense, special teams combined) in the NFL last year, and they really haven't lost anyone.

I hope the Texans can do something other than having another losing season...

Ottherwise, I see the Bengals as the greatest threat. Leon Hall and Johnathan Joseph will definitely dominate in their secondary. Carson Palmer is healthy too.

I say the San Diego Chargers have the best chance of beating them in the AFC. If the Dolphins somehow make the playoffs, they have had New Englands # the last couple seasons.

The Chargers will return strong and could/should meet them in the playoffs where anything can happen. Also the Jets will be a stronger team and be competitive in the division and may sneak another win vs. them as they did in 2006.

The Colts, because of their passing. The Patriot's new secondary defense might not have enough experience to play deep against Peyton Manning.

It's not a team that's the threat, it's a player named Randy Moss.
