Mine was Harry Truman because of his efforts for foreign policy and his lead for a better America.

I also really like JFK because of his strive to make America a better place and his strive for exploration of the moon.

William McKinley, Yes he did represent the interests of Mark Hanna and big business but, he did the best he could do to avoid war with Spain until he was absolutely pushed into it by TR and congress. By all accounts he was a kind and decent man who by 19th century standards provided an administration free of scandal and corruption, one only wonders what could have been had McKinley survived the assassination attempt in Buffalo.
