It's probably just normal. Some people just have more discharge. If you are experiencing ithching or burning as well as the discharge in your vaginal area, it could be a yeast infection, if it is, your doctor can give you some medication to clear it up.

Hi Don't be embaressed, I had the same after my baby and found doing pelvic floor exercises a great help. When you go for a wee stop it midstream, now tighten the same muscles during the day. Squeeze and hold for a few seconds then release and do this as many times as you can during the day even while your doing the chores.
After a few weeks you shold notice a difference. Also if your discharge is clear/white and doesnt smell bad then i wouldn't worry about it being anything bad.
Hope this helps :o)

Discharge can be caused by a number of different things. I think it's probably best to go to a doctor to have the discharge cultured. If you have a workup, the doctor can you what your problem is (I'm guessing it's some type of infection - perhaps a fungal, bacterial, or protozoal infection, all of which are treatable). Go to a gynecologist, explain the symtoms, have the discharge cultured, take the meds that the doctor gives you, and you should be all better after about two weeks.

hi stacey, i think what you have is leukorrhea, an excessive non-blody discharge. leukorrhea can be mucoid or purulent, thick or thin, malodorous or inoffensive non irritating or accompanied by itching or burning and the causes of these are maybe due to mid cycle production, infection or cervical inflammation due to old obstetric lacerations (since you're 1 year postpartum). all you have to do is clean your private part with mild vaginal wash and better yet consult your Ob-Gyne for thorough examination. God bless!

It sounds you have bladder weakness there is need for you to do pelvic exercises to strengthen up your lower body muscles to stop this. after you had your baby did the docs or nurses not recommend you do them, if you don't do them this is what happens, you are very young u don't want this to carry on,
