Of course it depends on how much you eat, but if you're eating one package, everyone's right. Skittles have 45 grams of sugar. Starburst only 34 grams.
But the calories in the two are equivalent and Starburst has saturated fat which skittles doesn't, so unless you need to worry about your carbohydrate intake, Skittles may be the better alternative.
(Skittles also gives you the 50% RDA of vitamin C.)

Well several peeps think Skittles so I would think that is right.
Before researching I would ask What exactly are you talking about? 1 pc of skittle to 1 pc of starburst? 1 package? 1 Serving?
