Doing it at SOMEONE ELSES house, is bad manners. Doing it at YOUR house is no big deal. As long as no one else is looking.

Drinking out of the carton is a great way to pass germs from one person to another. If the person is getting a cold or worse, then anyone who drinks after the person has a chance of getting the same thing. Man, it's just gross, like sticking your fingers in food before you serve it to other people!

i think alot of people try to sneak a drink from the carton when your out of the room. i don't have a problem with it, but i wouldn't do it if i were at someones home, i rekon it's bad manners. you don't know if the person's home your at is a germ phobe or not, they might freak out and have to throw the hole carton in the trash! people always say the last of the carton is slag!

I never ever drink out of the carton. Not when someone is looking and not even if I am alone. That is gross. I have major issues with sharing germs. eeewwwwww. ok I may not say anything, but I certainly won't have any of it after.

Yes, it's disgusting, but since I live by myself and very seldom have visitors, I drink out of the carton. Should I hook up with somebody, it's gonna be a hard habit to break.

Yes and No. I do not drink out of my milk carton and I generally could not care less what people think------especially house guests that borrowed my pajamas. Did I ever? No. My dad was Everywhere At Once. (What a weird way to get your kicks, but at least it's free.) (And you can't get pregnant)

Germy. Rude. I don't allow it in my house.
My husband's family keeps a big jar of water in the fridge in the summer. Everyone unscrews the lid, takes a big swig, puts it back. My MIL said it saved on washing dishes, if no one used a glass.
I refused to do that. Went without water (and it was hot there!) rather than share a community jar.

No, I would NEVER do that in anyone's home. I DO however drink soda OUT of MY soda bottle. BUT I am the only one that drinks this soda in my house. And if I ever did catch someone doing that in my house I would either dump it out or just let him/her finish it and dump it after they left. Too much stuff out there now-a-days and I don't want what they might have.
