What is the tray on top of the HP Pavilion used for?

What is the tray on top of the HP Pavilion used for?

I purchased an HP Pavilion Media Center (m7757c) recently, and it has a sliding door on top that reveals some kind of tray below. Do you have any idea what that tray is for? It's not documented anywhere.

Dont know what tray youre talking about, but some compacs/hp's have a place to store your RESTORE CD so it doesn't get lost, of course you can use it for ANY cd
