I do because I pay the bills! Now can you get the teenage girl in the house to do the same?

I would do that but I don't have a water bill. I do have a heating bill. If I turned off the water, I'd have to turn my heat up to at least 65 to keep from shivering. I live in an area where we get about 100 inches of rain a year but the average summer temperature is in the 50s. I try to keep a low profile in many ways but sometimes there are tradeoffs.

Hmmm, never crossed my mind. I leave it running, like most people I guess.
But like the other lady said I turn off the water when I brush my teeth and also when I wash the dog...I also hand wash my dishes instead of using the dishwater - that saves alot of water AND energy. So I guess I do pretty good!

This is called a shipboard shower and Navy sailors take showers this way all the time aboard ship. Running water while washing is termed a Hollywood shower and is frowned upon. Personally, I take short Hollywood showers at home.

Nice idea, but with showers, it can sometimes take a while for the water to get a certain heat, so I like to keep it running. :) Sorry. Overall, I take more baths.

No but I will give it a try but I doubt that method would last very long with me. I like leaving the water on when I brush my teeth.

Sounds inconvenient.

Think I'll just deal with the water bill.

I dont. I never really thought about it. On average, how much does it save on your water bill?
