The fall television season normally starts at the very end of August and continues through September, and sometimes leaks into the beginning of October, so its probably safe to say sometime in there. Start looking for announcements of premiere dates at the end of July or beginning of August.

ABC just had their up-fronts this week (along with the other major networks) and they announced the Grey's Anatomy would be on the fall schedule. However, they haven't announced the premiere dates.
Premiere dates will be released mid to late summer.

Most won't start until kids are back in school. The execs want people in their living rooms watching t.v., not outside playing or vacationing.
