yes, everyone is judged by what they wear and it's not always good. I've been judged both ways, told my outfit was cute and told that my outfit looks like it's for a 12 yr old. But ppl will judge you based on what ur wearing b/c that's the first thing that they see when they see you(other than ur face). It's not always good but *sigh* we must deal with it.
Don't worry about it if ppl are saying abd things about ur clothes-unless ur wearing something skanky-because it doesn't really matter once they get to know you.

hope tht helps!!!

Of course, it is done to everyone, whether they are aware of it or give a rat's ***. It is amazing the difference I received in respect after wearing a suit two or three weeks after I was a jeans/t-shirt type of guy in college.

Of course they have. People are quick to judge a book by it's cover. It happens to people everyday. I'll judge by a persons actions, not their choice of clothing.

Absolutely-Just for fun I went into a chic dress shop with a fur coat and hat, boots, etc. and the next week the lo\\opposite and the difference in their attitude was staggering!

For all they knew, dressed down I might have been rich and their attitude would kill any sales they might have made from me. Haven't you seen the doc. on TV of gals who put on clothes that are heavily padded and even out on the street they are called pigs, jeered at, etc. and later when they went out as themselves, got whistles! Sad society isn't it?

Yes. I mostly wear black or dark clothing and because of it people assume I'm a dark, brooding type of person who isn't open to make friends.
I think those type of people need to understand that it's a fashion statement, not a state of mind.
