I'm a Senior in High School, and I'm 18. He's 25 and we've been friends for 3 years. I first realized I was in love with him at the beginning of this year, and I know it's not lust because I dont have that dirty feeling when I look at him. But being around him makes me a complete pushover, and I'd do anything for him.
He flirts with me all the time, too, so I think there's a chance he might like me back. But I don't want him to lose his job. It's only his first year, and it worries me constantly.
Should I tell him how I feel? If so, when? I'm leaving in August, but I graduate in 8 days. We have a concert tomorrow, too, so. . . help me, please!

Wait till after you graduate, then talk to him. You never know, it could all work out.

I wouldn't worry about anything. Sounds like you have a major crush, not love. You don't fall in love with someone without dating them first. Part of the attraction is that he is older and he's your teacher. Besides, you need to go to college and experience life, not worry about the band teacher at your high school. What's he going to be like in ten years? Probably fat and balding. Plus he flirts because he's a GUY. He's probably not as in to you as you are him, but if you think this guy could change your life then tell him how you feel and hope for the best.

Have you seen the news on teacher and student relationships? Wait till at graduation day or after the end of the entire school year...first.

well, since you're graduating and leaving soon, don't tell your band director how you feel about him...it may result in him getting fired or that he spills out the beans and tells you that he likes you 2, but that would be bad because you guys would be apart from each other.
Still, if you want its still your choice and if you really have the need to say that you like him, then wait until after school's out.

If you feel like you really wnat to tell him, please wait until you graduate. At least there will be not fine line crossed. Usually I would say don't say that you like him, but maybe you can give hints and signs of the sort.
If that does not work, try asking him how he feels about you.
May be he will get the clue then.

Awww...this is really sweet because you both are young, and that's a good thing. But I think you should wait until you get out of high school to let him know how you feel. It would be weird to let him know now, because I think he's not going to want to give it a shot because of his status as well as yours. So, I strongly suggest that you wait until you get out of there, I'd even wait till my 1st semester of college. That way I think as lease he'll think about it. But good luck to you. And I wouldn't let anyone I know who knows him, know about my feelings for this teacher. (just a bit of advice)

He wont lose his job if you start dateing after you graduate. If you really think you love him let him know...but know that there is a difference in loveing someone, and BEING in love with someone.

Be sure and tell him that there is a FOX NEWS Truck circling the block and he's about to become "FAMOUS", but not in a good way. When in high school, deal with high school guys.........and BOOKS!
