We were thinking about naming our baby Korbin Monroe. What do you think of the name in general. Now we don't know what we're having yet, so what about for a boy? What about for a girl? If it is a girl, then we can nick-name her Kori.

For a girl, I would not name her Korbin

Kora Monroe
Koral Monroe
Kordula Monroe
Korina Monroe

They are girl names, that are similar to Corbin

Don't like Korbin for a girl or boy. I do like Monroe as a first name for a girl.

It IS different, but I think that is part of the appeal. When you named your oldest, it was a relatively uncommon name, and then when your second came along, you game him a name that NO ONE had ever heard of....but both of the names totally work for each of them. It may be "odd" at first, but look at the names in my family....odd seems to work for us! haha

The only thing I am not too super thrilled about is the "Kori" part. I am not real sure I like that as her nickname. (???) I'll have to let that one sink in for a bit. I have yet to meet a girl named Kori that I have been able to get along with! haha I'm sure that is just ME, and I'm sure that there are many girls named Kori/Cori that are perfectly sweet and nice and that I would be able to be great friends with....but the name is just not my fav.

Ultimately, like I said before....it is a very personal choice for you and Joe and whatever you decide will end up being perfect for the baby.

Korbin Monroe is nice for a boy but not for a girl. For a girl, how about Karin Monroe or Karina Monroe.

I think I like it better for a boy, but then again, I do like Kori, and Korbin is a sweet ful name for a girl.. Like Madison for Maddy or Addison for Addie

I like Korbin for a boy.
I'm not crazy about it for a girl.
If you want to call her Kori why not just name her Kori.

For a boy I think it's nice. But for a girl I think it is too masculine. Why not Korinne or Korina. You could still use Kori as a nickname with those. Korina Rose would be pretty.
