I have 1 gig of RAM. Is this enough to atleast have the game on high settings? Not ultra high just high. And I dont turn on shadows in any game so this should clear some stuff up. I can't afford a RAM upgrade so I'm just wondering if my game will still look good and play well at the same time. Thanks in advance!

1 gig of ram should be just fine to run the game on XP, If you are on Vista, you will want more.

But keep in mind that ram is not the deciding factor on how high you can set the game settings. The video card is much more important.

Depends. If you are running Vista, you will need at least .5 more gigs of ram. But on XP, you should be fine. But make sure you also have a fast CPU and good video card. Also, make sure you have a fast internet for online.

It should be OK on XP, What type other settings do you have, run on AC not battery, turn off anything nonessential. Your gameplay is a compromise between resources and demand. With ramm as cheap as it is, theres no reason not to run 2g on a laptop. If youre playng online, use your nic, not wireless.
